Estuary or small bay is a natural water phenomenon that is mostly form at the river mouth. An estuary is actually the progression of sea water in the land as form of a wide incision which is formed where the river flows into the sea or where the sea tide and the river flow meet due to the special coastal morphology and the low resistance of rocks and heavy sea waves. such as the progression of the Oman Sea and Indian Ocean waters in Arabia and Iran lands.

Mud volcano

Comprehensive studies in this regard have been carried out by Kayhan Keps Kish Company, which identified 16 mud volcano, 3 gas springs, 3 sulfur springs and 2 oil springs. Some of these mud volcanoes are silent and the remaining cones are eroding and disappearing, while others are active or periodically active. During this research, a map of the distribution of mud volcanoes in Makran region has been presented.
